Become the Leader the Next Level Requires
Executive and leadership coaching for tech leaders growing their scope — presence in high-stakes rooms, influence across orgs you don't run, and teams you trust to deliver without you in every meeting.
Imagine…
Walking into high-stakes rooms with authority and clarity — and being remembered for what you moved, not just what you said.
Aligning stakeholders and leadership without positional power, so your ideas travel farther than your org chart.
A team that delivers without your fingerprints on everything — because you scaled yourself, not just your hours.
Without generic leadership frameworks that collapse the first time a real conflict hits.
Without learning by expensive trial and error in a role where the errors are visible.
Without spending half of every session explaining how tech companies actually work.
Coaching from inside the industry
I spent 17+ years in tech as an individual contributor, a manager, and a manager of managers, through rapid growth, reorgs, and high-stakes change. I was trained in leadership there, and much of my time was spent advising senior leaders — how to move a decision through an org that does not report to you — and sponsoring strong individual contributors into their first management roles. I am an International Coaching Federation credentialed executive coach (ACC, CEC) — the methodology gives the work structure, the time inside gives it the weight of experience.
Our work is confidential and tailored: executive presence, influence and alignment, emotional intelligence, building and scaling teams, and accelerating into new roles. We also cover the everyday mechanics — giving feedback, delegating, handling performance problems, and hiring well. We set concrete goals, build new behavioral patterns, and define results your leadership can actually see.
From Clients Who Did This Work
Landed a Sr. Director of Product role at a household-name company
" Before working with Larry, I was navigating several high-stakes career decisions in a senior product role within a FAANG company. I had strong experience, but I was looking for sharper clarity on how to position myself for the next step and operate more intentionally at an executive level. Larry brings a rare combination of strategic insight and practical guidance. He helped me distill a compelling leadership narrative, elevate my executive presence, and focus on the roles and environments where I could drive the greatest impact. As a result, I transitioned into a Sr. Director of Product role at a leading, household-name company. More importantly, I now approach my career with a much higher degree of clarity, confidence, and intentionality. Larry's coaching was a meaningful catalyst in that transformation. "

Shifted from founder to true engineering leader
" I was already an experienced technical founder, but I needed to calibrate my leadership approach and adjust my own expectations. Larry helped me shift from a 'figure it out myself' mindset to operating as a true engineering leader. As I made career changes, Larry helped me see and communicate my own unique advantages. Larry is very easy to talk to and holds invaluable knowledge from his leadership roles at large organizations. He's the first person I go to for leadership and career questions. "

Elevated executive presence and strategic clarity
" I've worked in high-pressure, fast-moving environments across multiple top-tier tech companies, where the challenge isn't just execution — it's navigating ambiguity, aligning with senior leadership, and knowing how to show up in the moments that matter. Larry has been someone I've consistently relied on through those transitions. What stands out is how practical and situational his guidance is — he gets straight to the core of the situation and helps you see what actually matters, whether it's managing up, reframing a message for an executive audience, or handling a complex leadership dynamic. A big shift for me was around executive presence — not in a superficial sense, but in how to communicate with clarity, read the room, and operate with the right level of intent and confidence. I'm able to handle ambiguity better, align stakeholders more effectively, and approach difficult situations with more clarity and control. I continue to reach out to Larry as a trusted advisor — his input consistently helps me get to a better outcome. "

A Word on Timing
Nobody tells you that you've plateaued. Your scope gradually narrows — interesting problems route around you, rooms get smaller, and a scenario forms about you being a strong operator who is not quite ready for more. That scenario is far harder to exit than it is to prevent from happening in the first place.
Questions I Get
Who is this for?
Leaders in tech growing in scope: new and seasoned managers, directors, VPs, and senior ICs whose influence now matters more than their output. If you just started a bigger role, this is my new-role acceleration work — the first 90 days set your pathway.
How is coaching different from mentoring or advice?
Advice hands you an answer; coaching builds yours. Sessions are structured around your real situations: a hard conversation, a stakeholder standoff, a team problem. We work through them in real time, building patterns that last long after our work ends. When my operator experience is useful, I bring it, labeled as such.
Is this confidential?
Completely. What we discuss stays between us. If your employer sponsors the engagement, we agree up front on the reporting boundaries in writing — sponsors get themes and progress, never transcripts.
How long does an engagement run?
Typically three to six months, but it depends on what you need. Durable behavioral change needs reps, not one conversation. We define your goals in the first sessions and continuously check progress against them.
What does it cost?
Pricing depends on how much ground we need to cover. Coaching requires time and money, but it's a short term investment for long term returns. The work we do pays off long after the engagement ends in how you show up, influence, and communicate moving forward. Some employers sponsor the engagement — if that is a possibility for you, tell me and I will help you put your case together. I'll send exact pricing before you commit to anything.
What happens after I reach out?
I read every note myself and reply by email within 2 business days. Short email conversation to confirm fit, then details. If I'm not the right coach for your situation, I'll say so directly — and where I can, point you toward someone in my network who fits better.
Ready When You Are
Send me a note and I'll personally reply within 2 business days — or book a free discovery call if you'd rather talk it through first.
