Top Job Boards for Tech

A vetted list of the job boards that consistently produce results for tech job seekers in the US — plus the order to work them in.

With so many job boards out there, there are only a few that are consistently useful to those of us in tech.

I’m sharing my list here. I sourced it from my clients’ success stories and from my own research and UX testing.

Reliable sources of tech jobs (vetted for the US market)

  • 📌 LinkedIn Jobs — the one and only.
  • 📌 Stack Overflow Jobs — convenient front end for tech jobs posted on Indeed.
  • 📌 Y Combinator — startup jobs curated by Y Combinator.
  • 📌 Wellfound — formerly AngelList Talent.
  • 📌 TrueUp — curated lists of tech jobs plus company profiles.
  • 📌 levels.fyi — the standard for comparing career ladders and compensation; makes sense they’d add a job board.
  • 📌 Otta — requires an account, but good job-to-profile matching plus company profiles.
  • 📌 StillHiring — Airtable of tech companies actively hiring, with funding rounds and other metadata.
  • 📌 Your own personal network — the best one, but requires the most active effort.
